This breed was named for the Cavalier King, who was the emperor of The Great Britain in the early 1720s. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is generally a pampered pet dog that needs careful & regular combing & brushing to avoid matting.

It is a perfect house for pets & family unit that dissolves well with erstwhile pets. The Cavalier King Charles is observed to be predominantly good with kids. He has only a few whims in his character & not lots of problems either, which assists to make him a best friend of kids.

The height of Cavalier King Charles is about 12-13 inches & its weigh is about 11 to 17 pounds. He looks like a tiny hounding spaniel with a full gag, high-set ears & a docked or long tail. The Cavalier King Charles’s coat is gently waving, soft & longish hair which is nearly looks like silk.

The white & red colour sort is known as Blenheim after the Duke of Marlborough’s estate. Other suitable colours of the Cavalier King Charles are black, dark red, white & tricolour. The tricolour is a mixture of white & black with chocolate brown inflections.
